Arnie the Doughnut
By Laurie Keller.
Description
Arnie the Doughnut is delivered to Mr. Bing, who eats a doughnut every day. Arnie is shocked that Mr. Bing wants to eat him. Arnie makes all sorts of suggestions to save himself. In the end, he and Mr. Bing end up being good friends, and Arnie turns into a sort of pet. Praise for Arnie the Doughnut: "Laurie Keller is a goofball. She's a genius. She's a goofball and a genius. It's seldom that you find such depth in a doughnut. Or such fun in a picture book. Arnie takes destiny into his own hands, with vastly entertaining results. - from Amzon
