Six Chicks
Description
Red Hen is settling her six wriggly, giggly, fidgety chicks to bed. Patiently, she kisses them and cuddles them and rocks them. But the last little chick has to be told the "sleepy-time secret" before he can fall asleep. With its appealing baby bird theme and its enjoyable counting elements, this is an ideal bedtime read-aloud for the very young. Henrietta Branford’s previous books include Little Pig Figwort Can’t Get to Sleep and Fire, Bed and Bone. Six Chicks is Thierry Elfezzani’s picture-book debut. - from Amzon
